A community worker, philanthropist, Catholic, who through his attitude in life and professional and extraprofessional activities helps people who are sick and in need, both in Poland and abroad. A person distinguished in the medical community for his exceptional pro-social and charitable activity. Model and inspiration for action, promoting ethical values in the exercise of medical service. He pays attention to caring for the sick, often lost in the meanders of the health service, but also in excessive medicalization. Particular fields of his interest are the cases of patients with rare diseases in pulmonology, sleep disorders, and above all respiratory disorders. He actively engages in building organizational mutual cooperation, between different medical professions. He also cares for simplification of procedures and requirements - especially legal ones - often paralyzing medical activity nowadays. An important aspect of his activity is journalistic activity in the Catholic environment. In his activities and publications he emphasizes the importance of making medical decisions and choices, strictly in the service of patient's life and health.
