Rev. Prof. Robert Nęcek. A priest of the Archdiocese of Krakow, educator, ethicist, an eminent expert on the Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church and issues on social communication. In the years 2005-2016 spokesman for the Archdiocese of Krakow, professor at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow, PhD in social sciences, head of the Department of Media Education at the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Pontifical University of John Paul II. Consultor of the Council for Social Media of the Polish Episcopal Conference. At the request of the Commission for Rector's Awards of the Pontifical University of John Paul II, the rector awarded him for outstanding teaching and organizational achievements (2010, 2017). Author of articles in Poland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Spain and Italy. Awarded with the “Mater Verbi” medal. In 2016 awarded the St. Florian Mazovia 2nd class gold badge for exceptional effectiveness and media competence. Winner of the Special „Phoenix Award 2017”. Honoured for the book "Media Education in the Social Teaching of Pope Francis” published in Polish and Italian.
